This hotel is located, as the name indicates, at the Gare du Midi, the Eurostar terminal. It is a short taxi or metro ride to the centre of town.

Rooms

Whilst the bedrooms are equipped following the new Ibis concept, the size of the rooms are 24m.sq. and are similar to those of the Novotel, in as much as they all have a double bed and a sofa bed. The only exception is that the bathrooms are shower only and the toilet is not separate from the bathroom. All rooms are in very good condition.

Restaurant

This is a typical Belgian cafe, hence its name Cafe Belge, and serves traditional Belgian light snacks throughout the day as well as many types of Belgian beer. It is located on the ground floor and has a wooden floor and is quite dark and atmospheric.

Exterior

Although the buildings in this area are all still very traditional, this is a brand new and modern building which stands out from its surroundings.

Lobby

The modern lobby is medium in size and incorporates the bar/brasserie, which is very popular with both the locals and hotel guests. It serves traditional Belgian fare.
