Overview
Winner of the HolidayCheck Top Newcomer award 2010, the recently constructed Sol Luna Bay Resort is an all inclusive hotel complex overlooking the fine sandy beach and crystalline waters of the Northern Black Sea. This secluded holiday complex is a popular choice for couples and families for water sports and is only ten minutes from the nearby towns Byala and Obzor. A shuttle bus to both towns is available with extra charge.
The Sol Luna Bay has 374 double rooms and 84 family suites, all of which are tastefully decorated and most face the sea. Guests can swim in the indoor or outdoor pool, work out in the modern, well equipped fitness centre, relax at the spa and try water sports on the beach. There is a kids club for younger visitors and entertainment and activities are organized for everyone, day and night.
Obzor is on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast between Burgas and Varna. There is an attractive five mile long stretch of beach in the town and the more famous resorts of Nessebar and Sunny Beach are not far away. Byala has a Roman fortress where many Greek and Roman coins are found and then exhibited in the "White Rocks" centre in Bjala. Byala is also famous for its wine growing, especially for its ‘Dimiat’ wine.
