Lake Louise offers over 4,000 acres of slopes to ski and snowboard on. If you fancy some night time skiing head to Mount Norquay, only a 20 minute drive from Canmore.
  • More daring individuals might like to try a spot of ice climbing. Canmore is considered Canada’s ice climbing capital so whether you’re a beginner or seasoned expert, the Yamnuska Mountain Adventure centre has plenty to offer.
  • The Canmore Nordic Centre offers world class cross country skiing over 100 km of trails. Gracefully glide through forests or speed skate down tracks used by international competitors. Part of the track is illuminated until 9pm so you can carry on skiing after dark.
  • Canmore is known for it’s caving. Take a tour guide of the underground caves to suit your ability with Canmore Caverns Ltd.
