Jasper Highlights
Hiking, biking, skiing, white water rafting and plunging into hot springs, to name but a few of the exciting things a Jasper holiday could bring you. No matter what the season or your level of ability, there are activities for everyone all year round. Don’t rely on the word of lowcostholidays.com, go see and get involved for yourself!
- Maligne Canyon is a sight not to be missed. The steep limestone walls plummet vertically down to create one of the most stunning gorges in the Rockies. When the floor is frozen during winter take a Canyon Tour through it or during the summer cross the canyon via the bridges. From here you will see into the depths – not one for the faint hearted.
- The Lake at Lac Beauvert is open all year for family friendly activities. You can go cross-country skiing, take a horse drawn sleigh round the lake or go ice skating. In the summer why not try boating or cycling. If golf is your thing then be sure to putt on this scenic course.
- Be sure to visit Athabasca Falls where the river runs through a gorge creating a dramatically stunning sight. You will see nature at its most spectacular whatever the season – suspended ice sheets in the winter or tiny rainbows around the waterfall spray in the summer.
