When to go

Like all other Caribbean islands, Antigua and Barbuda boasts sunshine all year round. For cooler temperatures, December to April are said to be the best times to visit the country. June and August is the best time for those who want to avoid the crowd of the peak season.

Popular beaches in Antigua like Dickenson Bay and Runaway Bay tend to get busy. Try southwest and southcoast beaches at Fryes Bay, Darkwood Beach and Johnsons Point, the journey is worth it.
