Overview

The Grand Pineapple Beach Antigua sits on a beautifully secluded stretch of white sandy beach, surrounded by 25 acres of tropical planting, overlooking the horseshoe shaped Long Bay on the north-east coast of Antigua. Much of the island is covered with banana, mango and coconut groves, lush vegetation and rainforest as well as a number of old sugar mills and pleasant little churches. The capital, St Johns is approximately 30 minutes drive away.

The resort has two freshwater swimming pools, one of which is a quiet pool reserved for adults only.

Eating and drinking

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served in Topaz, the main restaurant. Breakfast and lunch is buffet style and 'a la carte' to order on selection. Dinner in Topaz includes international gourmet cuisine served buffet style by candlelight overlooking the moonlit sea. At lunchtime you can pick up a sandwich, snack or ice cream at the Pelican Snack Bar or stop by The Outhouse for BBQ ribs, chicken, hot dogs and chili beans. The Pelican also serves late night snacks. For dinner, in addition to Topaz, there is an Italian (on a Sunday and a Wednesday night) and a Tex Mex (on a Tuesday and Friday). You can also enjoy a selection of premium Brandy at the piano bar. aqua bar and Pineapple disco bar and don't miss the managers cocktail party on a Monday followed by Beach BBQ .
