Sandals Emerald Bay is a high-class luxury resort, situated in the tranquil paradise of Great Exuma, on the island of Grand Bahama.

There are numerous activities available at the Sandals Emerald Bay hotel, including an 18-hole golf course, set on a rocky peninsula with spectacular ocean views. The complex boasts six tennis courts, a fitness centre, a bocce court and billiards tables. Alternatively, pamper yourself with a treatment at the on-site spa.

Evening entertainment is available in the form of dance lessons or live music, and the hotel also organises a range of beach activities that guests can participate in – including scuba diving, snorkelling, windsurfing or kayaking.

Swimming pools

Sandals Emerald Bay resort hotel features a total of three pools, one fitted with a central fire-pit seating area, and a whirlpool.

Eating and drinking

This hotel boasts five different dining options; enjoy Mediterranean cuisine at Bahama Bay, Tuscan dishes at Il Cielo, or visit The Drunken Duck, an authentic styled British pub. Other options include a Pizzeria and a fresh seafood restaurant beside the sea.

In addition to this there are five bars dotted around the complex, including a swim-up pool bar.

Accommodation

The 183 spacious rooms are fitted out beautifully, with stone floors, rugs, dark woodwork and handcrafted furnishings. Each room comes with a private balcony or patio, as well as extras such as satellite television, telephone, high speed internet, in-room bar and marble bathrooms. Espresso machines are available in the rooms, and each bathroom features a well-lit make-up mirror.

Guests can enjoy 24-hour room service as well as a concierge or personal butler service. Honeymoon suites are also available, which come with a king-size bed and beautiful views out over the garden.
