Worthing, Barbados Holidays

Worthing insider tips

Whether you’re holiday in Worthing to relax on the wonderful beaches or to experience local life, lowcostholidays.com insider tips will help you come closer to the break you’re looking for.

When is the best time to go?

You can enjoy Worthing’s lovely climate all year round but it’s best to check beforehand for weather-warnings and storms that come in on wet fronts. The hurricane season is June to October!

Great nights by the surf

In this little Barbadian town, you’ll find the best thing to do is relax in the evenings with a bottle of wine by the lapping waves. Worthing Beach is one of those unreal postcard beaches, with turquoise waters and white sand – while at dusk it turns into a meditative paradise.

There’s some great little bars around the town also, and you’ll find a Barbadian beer to be just the thing after a day of tropical heat – The Nelson Arms is the one to look out for.

How’s the shopping?

There’s a few shops that sell conveniences and groceries and a few local specialities, but it’s a very small settlement and shopping is certainly not something you’d come to Worthing for.

Where can I get a burger?

Barbados can be expensive when it comes to enjoying a meal. With a simple meal running to about $15, however, Just Grillin’ the Worthing restaurant displays great prices and quality cuisine, with seafood and fish taking centre stage, with rice and vegetable dishes popular options.
