The dolphinarium, Chapelín Marina and Varahicacos nature protection area are all located in the near vicinity and it is 19 km to Cárdenas and 64 km to Matanzas. It is well worth paying a visit to the dripstone caves of Bellamar that lie approximately 50 km from the hotel.

The entertainment programme in which guests may participate embodies the tradition of Cuba and takes place beside the pool or on the beach (occasionally also in the evenings). In the outdoor complex is a swimming pool, a children's paddling area, a poolside snack bar around which sun loungers and parasols have been laid out ready for use. Further leisure offerings include a massage service, a Jacuzzi, a sauna and an in-house gym. It is possible to go catamaran sailing or pedalo boating as well as to play tennis, table tennis or beach volleyball. Sun loungers and parasols have also been laid out ready for use on the beach.
