Overview

The Puerto Plata Village Caribbean Resort and Beach Club is in the famous Playa Dorada complex in the northern Dominican Republic city of Puerto Plata. After dark there is a disco and professional entertainment with staff and guest participation.

The hotel has a buffet style restaurant, three themed a la carte restaurants (Italian, Mexican and Caribbean), a snack bar, a lobby and piano bar, a beach bar and grill, a pool bar, a drinks bar and a bar in the disco.

The hotel operates an all inclusive option which includes a welcome cocktail, buffet style breakfast, lunch buffet style at the Altamira restaurant or on the beach at the Arenazo Beach Bar, dinner is also available buffet style at the Altamira Restaurant or a la carte at the Rigoletto Italian Restaurant, Criollo Caribbean Cuisine Restaurant and at the La Pinata Mexican Restaurant. Wine is served with dinner and snacks are served from 11am to 5pm and 11pm to 2am. Unlimited national drinks and cocktails are served at five different bars: El Malecon pool Bar, Guananico Bar, El Arenazo Beach Bar, El Ayuntamiento Lobby and piano Bar and Ambrosia Disco. There is a dress code for the specialty restaurants and dinner reservations for any of the a la carte restaurants can be made with the hostess at the Altamira Buffet Restaurant from 7am to 2.30pm every day.
