Please note: All visitors to the Dominican Republic will require a passport which is valid for six months upon arrival to the country and for the entire duration of their planned stay. A tourist card is also required and this can be obtained at the airport.

Swimming pools
The hotel has an outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults and a separate children`s pool. Both the pool area and the beach feature free sunbeds and parasols for guests to use.
Eating and drinking
The hotel operates an All Inclusive programme which includes a welcome cocktail, free entrance and beverages to the Fun Pub but does not include imported beverages, special menus at the a la carte restaurant, selected wines or the El Cano Restaurant and Bow Bar at the Cayena Beach Club. Continental breakfast is available from 5.30am to 11am at El Bucanero, buffet style breakfast is available at the El Mirador main restaurant from 7am to 10am, lunch can be taken at either the Mirador or the El Bucanero beach restaurant between 12.30pm and 2.30pm, between 3pm and 4.30pm tea, coffee and cakes are available at the Calypso Bar whilst dinner can be enjoyed in the Mirador between 6pm and 9.30pm, or in the La Trattoria or La Estrella De Mar a la carte restaurants between 6.30pm and 9.30pm. The El Bucanero beach restaurant is also available for dinner between 6.30pm and 10pm and serves snacks throughout the day from 11am to 6pm. The AI drinks programme includes a wide selection of national drinks like soft drinks, juices, beers, cocktails, coffee, tea, liqueurs, spirits and house wine by the glass and is available in the lobby bar from 10am to 12.30am, the Calypso lounge bar between 3pm and 5.30am with snacks, the beach bar from 10am to 5.30pm and the Fun Pub disco between 11pm and 2am.
