The most popular time of year to visit is between December and April when the weather is at its best. If you're looking for a quieter break and don't mind a chance of rain, the off season is still hot and sunny and there are some great bargains to be had.
You can spend your days relaxing on beautiful beaches and soaking up the Caribbean vibe or taking excursions to explore the surrounding area. Jeep safaris and horseback riding are popular activities, as are trips to see waterfalls and hike through stunning countryside.
