The gorgeous, seven-mile stretch of white sand beaches in Negril, Jamaica are some of the most famous and well-loved in all the Caribbean, and with its prime location right on the beachfront, the Grand Pineapple Beach Hotel in Negril is a great choice for a luxurious tropical getaway. Guests at the hotel can choose between beach side and garden side rooms. Garden side rooms overlook the spectacular beauty of the gardens found on the land side of the Norman Manley Boulevard, with their stunning floral displays in reds, fuschias and golds. Beachside rooms, of course, look out over the aforementioned world-famous beach. A seemingly endless expanse of soft, fine white sand partially shaded by a series of dramatic 40-foot cliffs, and sloping so gently into the sea that you can wade out into the brilliant, aquamarine waters for an unbelievable distance before they reach your neck, its reputation is well-deserved.
Despite the whimsical architecture, all rooms in the hotel come equipped with plenty of modern conveniences to ensure that your stay will be completely comfortable, including air conditioning and private bathrooms complete with both a bathtub and shower. The staff are all friendly and happy to help, and the traditional Jamaican food prepared by the local chefs in the hotel's Ocean Terrace buffet restaurant is excellent.
