When is the best time to go:
Labrelotte Bay has fantastic all year round temperatures, January to April is the dry season and therefore most popular, but generally tourists visit in any month, due to the lush all year round climate. If you’re going for the turtles make sure you visit mid-March to July.
Spectacular days out:
One of the most popular things to do on the island is go turtle watching at Grande Anse Beach, during mid-March to the end of July, it’s a sight not to be missed. The turtle watching is a prominent activity here, you might think that it is no big deal to wait for turtles on a beach, but the amazing leatherbacks have quite a fan following. The watches are held every Saturday from 4:00pm to 6:30am, the next morning and you can camp overnight on the beach, beneath the serene sky and twinkling stars. There's the Diamond Botanical Gardens in Soufriere, which is well worth a visit, it features restored mineral baths, picturesque waterfalls and a good nature trail.
How’s the shopping:
St. Lucia offers shoppers the option of browsing for duty-free imports like designer perfumes, crystal and china at Pointe Seraphine, which is a harbour-front shopping complex. Or for those looking for a more cultural shopping experience, don’t miss market day, when the farmers' wives flock to Castries' 100-year-old outdoor market to sell their wares. Soak up the atmosphere of the market and buy some local Caribbean products.

There is plenty of choice to eat in Labrelotte Bay, restaurants catering for all tastes in the area and surrounding resorts. There is food for everyone depending on your taste from fish, local Caribbean dishes and international. The Oriental Restaurant at nearby Reduit Beach is very popular with tourists and offers exquisite cuisine from China, Japan, India and Thailand.
