When is the best time to go:
Trinidad and Tobago mostly has great all year round temperatures. From January to May the islands experience a dry season and from May to December, the islands experience its wet season. Obviously the dry season is the most popular time to visit so the island will be pretty busy, people still visit in the wet season, but be aware that some tours and restaurants close, so is worth checking beforehand.

A place of historical note is the Courland Monument in Great Courland Bay. In 1978 the Courland Monument was erected and dedicated, and sits next to Tobago's oldest town, fort, capital, and church.
Another place well worth a visit is exploring the natural wonders of the Buccoo Reef. This reef is located in a protected marine park and is made up of a coral that stretches from Pigeon Point to Bon Accord Lagoon. Here you will be able to view Star Corral, Flower Coral, Horn Coral, and literally millions of tropical fish and other wildlife.

Whether you are shopping for gifts to take home or just curious about what the island has to offer, Tobago has many shopping options. You can shop just about anywhere on the island, from main streets boasting small variety shops and family-run businesses to multi-level shopping malls. Roadside and street vending is also very common.

Eating in Tobago is a rewarding experience with much to choose from and many restaurants catering for all tastes, both local cuisines and international dishes. Try out the nearby Arnos Vale Waterwheel Restaurant; the location is amazing with lush, tropical scenery surrounding an old sugar distillery.
