7000 year history has seen conquests by the Phoenicians,
Byzantines, Arabs, Romans, and most famously, the
Knights of the Order of St. John, resulting in a island
full of fascinating traditions, cultures, architecture
and cuisine. Whilst on a Malta holiday there are a
wealth of activities to enjoy including golf, tennis,
cycling, paragliding and hiking. It is a popular choice
for scuba-divers, and the beach and coastal resorts
