Cyprus Holiday Information
It is not hard to find a glorious stretch of golden sand in Cyprus, and you will also find hidden, pretty little coves and a magical underwater world for diving and snorkelling. Paphos, Limassol and Larnaca all boast Blue Flag beaches, and you will certainly agree with this accolade. But that is not all! In 2006, 49 beaches in total around the island of Cyprus were awarded the EU’s Blue Flag.
Cyprus is incredibly family friendly, not only because of the clean gently sloping sandy beaches, but also as dining at the restaurants is a very relaxed affair. Water sports such as windsurfing and sailing may be enjoyed year round from the Cypriot beaches, whilst snorkelling and diving are superb summer sports. Coastal cruises and fishing around Cyprus are very popular for those not wishing to get their toes wet.
Book your cheap holiday to Cyprus either flying into Paphos or Larnaca and stay at a lovely Cypriot Beach resort with lowcostholidays.com online 24 hours a day.

Larnaca’s Phinikoudes Beach and McKenzie Beach are wonderful sandy beaches with water sports and sunbed hire available. Faro Beach is worth the 10 minute drive from Larnaca. Enjoy the Blue Flag beach at Protaras; a huge 16 km stretch where you should find a quiet spot! Ayia Napa’s gorgeous Blue Flag Nissi Beach is quite beautiful and perfect for lazing the day away or enjoying a selection of water sports.
Explore Cyprus
Whilst most people will remain near to the Cypriot beaches, the capital city of Nicosia in the centre of the island captures the true taste of Cyprus. Greek Orthodox churches are dotted through the hills and are generally beautifully maintained and worth a visit.
The Troodos Mountains and inland villages are fascinating, so why not take a lunch time picnic and sit in the shade of the trees to enjoy the cool breeze during the hot summer months?
To the east is Ayia Napa on the Cypriot coast with its fantastic shopping opportunities including cheap holiday souvenirs and discounted jewellery, designer clothes and accessories. Limassol on the south coast of Cyprus is perfect to purchase handmade crafts and local bargains, pottery, leather and lace.
