Limassol beaches:

• For peace and quiet head east out of Limassol to Governor's beach. Families and couples love the tranquil setting of this sandy beach and the calm clear waters are perfect for small children to paddle in
• The long stretch of sandy beach at Lady's Mile is very popular and ideal for anyone looking for water sport facilities, if you prefer peace and quiet just walk along the golden sands until you find your own little spot
• The beautiful sand, shingle beach at Pissouri offers a little of everything, rarely overcrowded, except for weekends when locals turn up for a swim it has water sports and a small scuba diving school and plenty of beach side tavernas for refreshments
• The sea can be rough at Curium beach so not ideal for swimming however the beach is really beautiful so it's incredibly popular for people just wanting to relax and enjoy the scenery

• Fancy some fun and a change from the beach? Challenge your friends in a racing tournament at Limassol's Go karting club
• If you like cycling what better way to get out and see Limassol and the surrounding area, look out for guided tours or hire a bike and explore for yourself
• Experienced, inexperienced or complete beginner there are several horse riding clubs and ranches that organise wonderful expeditions across all sorts of different terrains
• There is an excellent range of activities you can do in Limassol choose from clay shooting, ten pin bowling, volleyball, golf and of course all the usual water sports that are available

• The nightlife in Limassol is another big attraction head to Yermasoyia for late night clubs, discos and bars. The Basement club has a great atmoshper and plays everything from chart music to garage
• Cypriots love their cafe bars and Limassol is home to more than just a few, for a more relaxed evening enjoy a drink and a mezze at one of the trendy cafe's along the seafront
