  • There is an excellent range of activities you can do in Limassol choose from clay shooting, ten pin bowling, volleyball, golf and of course all the usual water sports that are available

Limassol nightlife:

  • The nightlife in Limassol is another big attraction head to Yermasoyia for late night clubs, discos and bars. The Basement club has a great atmoshper and plays everything from chart music to garage
  • Cypriots love their cafe bars and Limassol is home to more than just a few, for a more relaxed evening enjoy a drink and a mezze at one of the trendy cafe's along the seafront
  • For a late night of traditional Greek live singing and dancing in Limassol head to the Bouzouki clubs of Notes Studio or Rogmes

  • If you’re on holiday in Limassol in the winter months and like skiing take to the slopes at nearby Mount Olympus
  • For the historians among you a visit to the 14th century Limassol Castle that houses the Medieval museum, the medieval Kolossi Castle and the fascinating archeological sites at Kourion should not be missed
  • There are two major events held in Limassol every year - one is the carnival that takes place 6 weeks before easter and the second is the wine festival in September so if your on holiday in Limassol during that period don't forget to check them out
  • For shopping head to the bazaars in the old and new towns
  • Take a day out of limassol to explore the old villages at the foot of Troodos Mountain
