Things to do in Prague

Prague Sightseeing:

• It’s a little tricky to actually tell the time on the Astronomical Clock at the Old Town Hall but its complex dials are a marvellous thing to watch.
• Prague is full of beautiful places of worship; make sure to visit baroque church of St Nicholas, the Romanesque St George’s Basilica and the Gothic Gables at Old-New Synagogue.
• Charles Bridge is best visited in the early morning for a magical panoramic view of Prague at sunrise.

Things to do in Prague:

• See the Czech Republic's largest collection of antiquities at the National Museum.
• Enjoy the city's green spaces; discover stunning views at Paradise Garden, or enjoy a stroll and a picnic in the impressive Stromovka Park.
• Pick up locally made crafts such as glassware and marionette puppets in Havel market, or hunt down art deco and art nouveau antiques at the bazaars around Old Town Square.

Prague Clubs:

• Old Town’s Roxy Nightclub (pictured) is open till 4am and world-class DJs play techno, trance and jungle.
• Lucerna Music Bar in the New Town plays the best of the 80s and 90s at the weekends.
• Karlovy Lazne Club is the biggest night venue in the area and has a diffent club on each of its 5 levels.
• Listen to some live music at the many Jazz clubs in Prague such as Reduta Jazz Club and the USP Jazz Lounge.

Prague Restaurants:

• Try Czech classics like goulash and fish soup in the vaulted cellar restaurants in Old Town.
• Enjoy an elegant meal on the terraces of the upmarket restaurants by the river to watch a glorious sunset over Prague Castle.
• Visit one of the city's 800 traditional pubs to experience a slice of authentic Czech culture and local beer.
