The Cruise
The Crown Prince Nile Cruise is a 7-day/8-night experience that takes you to visit the many sights and attractions along the east and west banks of the Nile, which disembarks every Wednesday in the months of March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December.
Day 1: LUXOR
After arriving at the Crown Prince you can start your cruise with an afternoon of leisure on board the ship, which will include lunch. Dinner will also be on-board the ship before your overnight stay to your first destination.
Day 2: LUXOR - EDFU
After breakfast on the ship you will start your Nile experience with the West Bank of Luxor and explore the great valleys of the Kings and Queens where generations of Pharaohs and Nobles were buried in crypts cut into the cliffs and guarded by the two huge Colossi of Memnon. You will then visit the temple of Queen Hatchepsut before heading back to the ship for lunch then enjoy your dinner and afternoon while sailing to Edfu.
Day 3: EDFU – KOM OMBO
Discover the huge temple dedicated to the God Horus in Edfu by horse carriage and tour it with your guide. Visit the colourful local bazaars on your way where you can buy your souvenirs. Then after lunch on board it is time to sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the unusual double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the god Haroeris. Finally enjoy dinner and overnight while sailing to Aswan.
Day 4: ASWAN
Upon arriving in Aswan you will go off shore for the visits of the gigantic high dam, unfinished Obelisque and splendid Philae temple of Isis the mother goddess. Then it’s back to the ship for lunch before getting to enjoy more beauty of the Nile while sailing around the Elephantine Island in a felucca, finally dinner and overnight in Aswan.
Day 5: ASWAN
Today will involve sailing to Luxor via Esna with an overnight stay in Esna.
Day 6: LUXOR
After breakfast on the ship it is time to visit the East Bank of Luxor, where can walk among the colossal temple of Amun Ra and the avenue of the sphinxes between the Karnak and Luxor temples, an experience that you will never forget. Then it is back on board for lunch with the afternoon free to yourself before dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 7: QUENA
On the final day of the trip you will get to visit the magnificent Denderah Temple before heading back to Luxor with an overnight stay.
Day 8: LUXOR
After breakfast on board it is time to check out.
