Overview

The Serenity Makadi Heights Hotel nestles on the west banks of the Red Sea overlooking its own private beach. Built in a Moroccan style and opened in December 2006, this luxurious five-star all inclusive hotel is surrounded by large gardens and has spectacular views over the turquoise waters. The 510 rooms and suites are divided between four wings and all offer spacious, comfortable accommodation that is equipped with satellite television, tea and coffee making facilities and a private balcony or terrace.

You can simply relax on the hotel’s beach or by one of the spectacular swimming pools. The resort has every possible feature to make your Hurghada holiday enjoyable including a gym, sauna, steam bath and beauty salon, two tennis courts (free during the day and floodlight with charge), four massage treatment rooms, daytime and evening entertainment, a kids club for 5 to 12 year olds and a children’s playground on the beach.

Swimming pools

The hotel has 4000 square metres of water divided between seven pools. There is one large pool, the Marbella, a shallow water lagoon, a Jacuzzi, one pool which is heated in winter with separate children’s pool and two salty water pools by the right and left wings of the hotel.

Eating and drinking

A variety of wining and dining options are available onsite including the Mona Lisa main restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Rossini Italian specialty a la carte restaurant serving dinner, the El Khulkhal traditional Oriental a la carte restaurant serving dinner and the Harbor seafood a la carte specialty restaurant also serving dinner. The Marbella pool restaurant and bar opens throughout the day until sunset and serves beverages, snacks, salad and ice cream. There is also the Manta and Dolphin Bars located by the right and left wing, in the salty water pools which also open throughout the day until sunset to serve healthy drinks. On the beach is a beach bar serving a variety of refreshments both hot and cold whilst the Aphrodite Bar is the place to go in the evenings for fun and entertainment. Finally there is a Shisha Corner serving shisha and oriental hot drinks in the evenings until midnight.

The hotels all inclusive programme includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. buffet style, a la carte dinner (reservation required), soft drinks, juices, local wine and draught beer during meals, snacks from the pool bar between 11am and 5pm and again from 11pm to midnight, ice cream by the scoop from midday to 5pm, afternoon tea between 4pm and 6pm, soft drinks, juices, local wines, draught beer, local spirits, cocktails and hot drinks from the bar between 10am and 2am.
