Overview

The Coral Beach Marina Lodge (formerly the Coral Beach Diving Hotel) is in the up and coming resort of Port Ghalib just a few minutes drive from Marsa Alam international airport. This stylish, modern hotel is in a great location for diving holidays in Egypt as the Port Ghalib marina is literally next door and there is an onsite dive school where you can learn to scuba dive and explore the wonderful reefs just offshore in the Red Sea.

Most of the Marina Lodge’s 200 guestrooms enjoy a sea view and have everything you could need for a relaxing holiday in Marsa Alam including air conditioning, a private balcony or terrace and satellite TV. The hotel also has two swimming pools, a children’s pool and large terraces where you can lay back and soak up some Egyptian sun. Younger guests will also find a kids club onsite and babysitting facilities are available on request from reception.

The Emperors Dive Centre based at the Coral Beach Hotel caters for divers of all abilities including those wishing to learn to dive or take further PADI courses. The location and facilities are second-to-none with the dive boats moored on the hotel jetty just metres away. There are some fabulous day dives to the famous reefs of Elphinstone, Marsa Mubarak and Dolphin House Reef (Shaab Samadai), where there is a good chance to see dolphins whilst the bays here are home to excellent corals, large turtles and Guitar rays.
