The Cruise

The Crown Prince Nile Cruise is a 7-day/8-night experience that takes you to visit the many sights and attractions along the east and west banks of the Nile, which disembarks every Wednesday in the months of March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December.

Day 4: ASWAN

Upon arriving in Aswan you will go off shore for the visits of the gigantic high dam, unfinished Obelisque and splendid Philae temple of Isis the mother goddess. Then it’s back to the ship for lunch before getting to enjoy more beauty of the Nile while sailing around the Elephantine Island in a felucca, finally dinner and overnight in Aswan.

Day 5: ASWAN

Today will involve sailing to Luxor via Esna with an overnight stay in Esna.

Day 6: LUXOR

In the afternoon, you will discover more beauty of the Nile by felucca boat and visit the Botanical Garden: a peaceful paradise full of shady trees, beautiful flowers and unusual plants hosting colourful exotic birds on the Kitchener island. Then it’s back to the ship for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: LUXOR

In the early morning, the ship will sail to Kom Ombo, where you will get to visit the unusual double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the god Haroeris. Lunch will be on board the ship while sailing to Luxor, then finish the day with dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 7: Luxor

After breakfast on board the ship it is finally time to explore the West Bank of the Nile where you can see fantastic sights like the Great Valley of Kings and Queens where generations of Pharaohs and Nobles were buried in crypts cut into the cliffs and guarded by the two huge Colossi of Memnon. You will then visit the temple of Queen Hatchepsut before getting to enjoy your lunch and afternoon free on board, finally dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day 8: LUXOR
