The Ocean Club Hotel is on the Ras Um El Sid headland just a ten minute drive (by taxi or shuttle bus) from the lively Naama Bay area of Sharm El Sheikh. There are 70 comfortable, air conditioned rooms at the Ocean Club Hotel, and each room has en-suite facilities, a mini fridge and satellite television. There are two large swimming pools and a spacious terrace area where you can relax in the sun and the hotel also has a mini-spa with a sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room.

In addition to the superb diving and leisure facilities, the Ocean Club Hotel also has internet services, a pool table and a variety of excellent wining and dining options including a fabulous rooftop bar with great views and Shisha water pipes, and a well-known Mongolian BBQ Restaurant where you can choose your own ingredients and watch your meal cooked right before your eyes.

The Ocean Club Sharm has two large outdoor swimming pools and there is an award winning dive centre on the beach that caters for all experience levels.

Eating and drinking

The hotel has four restaurants and bars. Firstly there is the popular Phoenix roof top bar, a huge outdoor space where you can rest enjoying your drink or smoking the traditional Sheesha (water-pipe) while watching the beautiful sun as it sets behind the famous Sinai Mountains. The bar also serves snacks and has an indoor air conditioned area where you can just enjoy your time in a classic pub atmosphere and watch your favourite sport on the large LCD screens. If you enjoy Mongolian cuisine then there is no better option in Sharm El Sheikh than the Mongolian BBQ restaurant. Choose from the buffet style selection of fresh meat and vegetables, mix your favourite ingredients and then top it with your choice of nine different sauces before watching it being cooked on the specially designed large grill in just 90 seconds! Guests who like to relax poolside will find the convenient pool bar serves a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as a wide variety of snacks and last but not least there is the Reef Restaurant, the Ocean Club’s main restaurant. Here you can enjoy a buffet style breakfast and choose from the menu or the buffet for lunch and dinner.

Please note that a visitor’s visa may be required if you travel outside the Sinai desert and if you go diving or sightseeing outside Sharm El Sheikh. The visa will cost 10 GBP.
