Overview

The Park Inn Resort Hotel (formerly known as the Radisson Golden Resort) is on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, just across the road from the white sandy beach in the Nabq Bay area of Sharm El Sheikh. Nabq is approximately 20 minutes from the old city centre and the nearby Nabq national park has abundant wildlife, including gazelles, hyrax, Nubian ibexes and smaller mammals. Guests will find a dive centre of the beach so they can explore the fascinating under water world of the Red Sea and there is also a hotel-run shuttle service to lively Naama Bay (with extra charge).

The Park Inn Sharm features 401 comfortable air conditioned guestrooms and suites, all of which are equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, a minibar, safe and balcony or terrace. The swim facilities at the Park Inn Resort are second to none with two swimming pools for general use, a children's pool for younger guests and the recently added aqua park which is home to 31 slides and 7 different pools including a wave pool and a lazy river.

Swimming pools

The hotel has two swimming pools (one of which is heated in winter) and a children’s pool. The recent addition of a new aqua park has added 31 slides (suitable for adults and children) and seven more pools including a wave pool and a lazy river.

Eating and drinking

Guests of the Park Inn Sharm El Sheikh can enjoy all inclusive benefits at the Aqua Piper Restaurant and Palms Restaurant which include a breakfast (7am to 10am), lunch (12.30pm to 2.30pm) and dinner (6.30pm to 10pm) buffet style with a wide variety of theme nights, a salad buffet, a food for thought section and a variety of cheeses, pastries and fruits plus drinks with meals. Guests can also enjoy refreshments from the Lotus pool bar from 10.30am to 10pm, the Tiran pool bar from 10.30am to sunset, the Panorama lobby bar from 10.30am to midnight, the Aqua Park (waterfall) bar from 10.30am to sunset and at the Coral beach bar from 10.30am to sunset. All bars serve an international drinks menu and light snacks. There is also a wonderful Bedouin Tent available at the resort, where typical Asian food and drinks are served along with a special evening entertainment program.

Please note that a visitor's visa may be required if you travel outside the Sinai desert and if you go diving or sightseeing outside Sharm El Sheikh. The visa will cost 10 GBP.
