Overview

The Verginia Sharm Hotel is on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, in the Ras-Om El Sid hill area, just five minutes by shuttle bus from the beach. In addition to a shuttle service to and from the private beach there is also a shuttle to and from Naama Bay. Once at the beach you will find water sports and a dive centre.

The 160 rooms and suites at the Verginia Sharm Hotel all have a balcony or terrace that overlooks the swimming pool and attractive gardens. Inside your room you have the comfort and convenience of air conditioning, satellite television, a direct dial telephone, wi-fi internet access, a mini bar and a free safe box.

In your leisure time you can swim in the pool, play table tennis or visit the health club which has a gym, sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi and massage services. For those room essentials the hotel has a mini market and you can get a few souvenirs to take home at the shopping arcade. If you are visiting with children you will be pleased to find a kid’s pool and mini club to keep them entertained.

Eating and drinking

The hotels main restaurant, Septimus, offers a varied international and oriental buffet and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Acacus the pool restaurant serves seafood and an international a la carte menu whilst the Pool Bar (open from 9am till sunset) caters for all your poolside refreshments including soft drinks (hot/cold) and cocktails. At the 24 hour Ghadamas Bar and Terrace guests can enjoy live music, hot and cold drinks and cocktails as well as snacks during the day. The hotel also has an Oriental Corner serving tea, coffee and Shisha and there is a Beach Bar for refreshments that opens till sunset.

The hotel operates an all inclusive option which includes buffet style breakfast from 7am till 10am in the Septimus Restaurant with an assortment of freshly backed croissants, Danish, cakes, cereals, skimmed and full cream milk, yoghurt, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juices and mineral water. There is a lunch buffet between 1pm and 3pm and a dinner buffet from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, both of which in the Septimus Restaurant. At dinner time there are regular theme nights plus a hot and cold buffet, soft drinks, mineral water, juices, tea and coffee, local beer and wine. Late morning snacks are served at the lobby bar from 10am to midday and you can enjoy a sunset snack at the pool bar from 4pm till 5pm. Tea time in the lobby bar is from 5pm to 6pm. Beverages such as soft drinks , tea and coffee, beer, local spirits, gin, vodka, rum and whisky are served by the glass at the pool bar from 11am to sunset and at the lobby bar from 10am to 11pm. The Amphitheatre bar serves soft drinks, beer and water during show time. The AI plan also includes one bottle of mineral water per person in the room on the day of arrival. All Inclusive finishes at midday on your departure day and does not include imported beverages and spirits, Espresso, Shisha, fresh fruit juices and any drink after 11pm.

Please note that a visitor’s visa may be required if you travel outside the Sinai desert and if you go diving or sightseeing outside Sharm El Sheikh. The visa will cost 10 GBP.
