- Puy St Vincent is thought to be one of the best kept ski secrets in the Alps. Throughout the season the resort is far less busy than other ski resorts in the area. The relaxed atmosphere of the Puy St Vincent resort makes for an enjoyable skiing holiday, without the queues and business of a traditional resort.
- The resort is predominantly a family lead resort and as such has a large range of intermediate runs as well as a number of good nursery runs and a top class ski school. There are however a number of more challenging runs and slopes for the more experienced skier.
- The Puy St Vincent resort can usually be relied on to have good snow, the snowfall is above average in the area meaning that the season is often extended.
- The resort has a number of nursery and beginner slopes which are ideal to learn to ski or to build up the confidence of those new to skiing. It’s also a great place for children as the ski school facilities cater for children, families and groups.
- There are also plenty of intermediate runs in the resort offering good skiing for all levels of ability. There’s also a few black slopes for more experienced skiers as well as some guided off-piste to keep things interesting.
- Overall there is around 60km of runs and slopes in the resort, offering a range of pistes for all abilities. The resort is affordable and very reasonable considering the un-crowded runs and slopes.

- There are a number of restaurants and bars in the resort, though if you are looking for lively après-ski with bars and clubs open late this isn’t the place. The atmosphere is a lot quieter than some of the surrounding resorts, even in the height of season. It is an excellent place for families and groups wanting a quieter less busy resort.
- In and around the resort there are a number of facilities for other activities in the area. If you fancy a break from the slopes for a day or two you can always indulge in some; Paragliding,Ice skating, Dog-sled rides, Snow shoe trails, Snowmobiles, Quad biking or a quiet evening at the cinema.
