Superdevoluy is a much overlooked ski resort in the Devoluy region of the Hautes-Alpes in the Southern French Alps. This resort is a great favourite with the French and relatively unknown outside of France, which is a shame as it is home to a large number of quality slopes of varying levels of experience. The resort has around 100km skiing area consisting of over 60 slopes with a fair number of challenging pistes. The resort ranges from 1500 to 2700 metres above sea level, has a high average snowfall and a long season.

SuperDevoluy Highlights

• The Superdevoluy resort offers some spectacular panoramic vistas of the neighbouring mountains and valleys of the Hautes-Alpes region. There are around 35 kilometres of signposted cross country trails that make a perfect break from the slopes.
• For those more experienced skiers there are a number of challenging black runs in the area as well as plenty of off-piste.
• For intermediate skiers there plenty of long reds and blue runs and a couple of approachable black runs.
• The centre of the resort is the place to head if you are a beginner with a few gentle nursery slopes and green runs to get started on.
• For snowboarders there is a dedicated snowboarding area with a quarter pipe, a 100 metre half pipe as well as rails, spins, jumps and big air.
• There are a large number of activities and attractions in the resort and the surrounding area which are perfect if you fancy a change of pace from the slopes and want to give something else a go, including; paintballing, snow mobiles, ice-skating, and an ice diving centre on one of the areas frozen lakes.
• The après ski in the area is lively with a number of bars and restaurants that are open late, as well as a small number of clubs open until around 4 am.
