Skiing on a Vaujany Holiday
Vaujany is part of a large skiing area that covers eight villages in the area and spans over 250 kilometres of slopes and pistes as well as a number of cross country trails and off-piste, suitable for all types of skier, whether it’s your first time on skis or you are highly experienced. Expect to find:
- Over 100 different runs of varying standard with nearly 50 green slopes, 30 blue, 40 red runs and 16 challenging black runs.
- Over 50 kilometres of signposted cross country trails for cross-country skiers and those who want a change of pace from the slopes.
- A French resort easy to navigate with a huge number of ski lifts of different types from cable cars up the mountain to tow lifts. The nursery slopes and a number of gentle green runs are located nearer the town and the more difficult pistes and runs are positioned further up the mountain.
- A highly recommended ski school for beginners of all ages, with instructors running group and personal one on one lesson.
Activities and Après Ski on a Vaujany Holiday
A holiday to the Vaujany region has plenty to offer in the way activities that make a change from the slopes.

- There are a number of paths and trails in the area which are ideal for trekking and snow shoe hiking.

- The après ski of the region is very traditional with a number of small local run restaurants and bars serving local produce. There are also a lot of opportunities to see live music as well as a number of bars that are open into the early hours.
