• As well as the various snow-sports available during the winter months, many visitors to the area enjoy walking and hiking. There are a number of walks in the region all offering spectacular views and the chance to enjoy that famous Alpine air.
• The day after a long walk, why not visit the nearby town of Divonne-les-Bains, famous for its natural springs? A day here offers the ultimate in relaxation and the springs have been famous for well over 100 years for their relaxation and well-being properties.
• A trip to the local market is also a must; offering a wide range of produce and local wares, the Saturday market sells souvenirs, clothes, cheese and wine and attracts both locals and tourists. It’s a great place to stock up for a picnic to take on your walking excursions.
• Those interested in culture or the arts will not be disappointed either; there are a host of libraries, cinemas, museums, two theatres and, for a taste of French culture, the Conservatoire Municipal de Musique et de Danse.
