- Deutsches Eck is a large monument that sits at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers right in the centre of the town. The landmark is a huge monument of William I of Germany on top of a horse towering nearly 20 metres high.
- The Old Town is right by the riverside and is made up of winding streets and cobbled alleyways, this is a great way to soak up the ancient atmosphere of the town.
- There are a number of castles in and around the town like the beautiful fairy-tale Stolzenfels, Castle and the newly restored Kurfürstliches Schloss which has recently been reopened to the public in a picturesque setting right in the banks of the Rhine.
- The town of Koblenz is well known for its wine production and the area produces some of Germany’s finest wines. There are around twenty active vineyards in the Koblenz area, many of these run guided tours and hold wine tasting courses and sessions. These are a definite must to any wine lovers visiting the area.
- Every year Koblenz is host to a picturesque Christmas market. There are over 100 stalls set up in the ancient town centre selling all sort of Christmas gifts and foods. It is the perfect place for a winter visit and the whole town gets into the spirit of the season.
