Mare Monte Resort

Overview

Located on the island of Corfu, the Hotel Mare Monte is close to Agios Ioannis Beach and is a simple, family-run property with 84 well-appointed guestrooms, a swimming pool for adults and children, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel, which is surrounded by attractive gardens, is also close to many of the local restaurants and shops and has its own 150 metre section of private beach. Billiards, Table Tennis and video games can be enjoyed onsite and there is an internet corner and wi-fi so you can keep in touch with those at home. The hotel entertainment team provides a programme of daytime and evening activities including volleyball, shows and games and you can partake in water sports and diving on the beach. A bus stop is just across the road from the hotel and operates a service every 20 minutes into Corfu Town (which takes 20 minutes)

Swimming pools

The hotel has a large swimming pool and a separate pool for children. Surrounding the pool is a spacious terrace with loungers and parasols.

Eating and drinking

The hotel’s main restaurant is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves a selection of international and Greek dishes and there is also a pool bar for your refreshments throughout the day and a lobby bar open in the evenings.

The All Inclusive option includes breakfast between 8am and 10am, lunch from 12.30pm and 3pm and dinner between 7pm and 9.30pm, all buffet style served in the main restaurant. With lunch and dinner post mix soft drinks and juices, tap water, local wine by the carafe and draught beer is available. Ice Cream by the scoop can be enjoyed from the pool bar between 10am and midday and again between 3.30pm and 5.30pm. The pool bar opens from 10am to 6pm and the main bar opens at 6pm until 11pm. From the bars you can get post mix soft drinks and juices, tap water, local wine by carafe, draught beer, local spirits (ouzo, brandy, aperitifs, whiskey, rum, vodka, gin and tequila). There are also 5 all inclusive alcoholic cocktails and 2 all inclusive children cocktails, filter coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There is a barbeque once a week for all inclusive guests.
