The Potamaki Beach Hotel, built in 1970 received its last renovation not too long ago in 2001, helping ensure that its accommodation and facilities are kept to a modern standard. There are 170 simply decorated guestrooms spread out over the 5 floors of the building and there are a number of services and facilities available at the hotel to help make your stay a comfortable one.

You will find the reception/front desk is available 24 hours where you can enquire about the tours, excursions and car rental services on offer. Guests can be refreshed in the hotel’s large outdoor swimming pool or soak up the sun on the terrace by the pool on one of the many available sunbeds and loungers or choose to relax in the lounge and games area, where you can find the pool/snooker and table tennis facilities. The hotel is also well equipped for all its visitors with both; wheelchair access and disabled facilities available if needed.

The Potamaki Beach Hotel enjoys a great location just across the road from the nearest beach, certified as blue flag for its clear and clean waters and if you explore the west of the island you will find several pleasant and sandy beaches to enjoy. Many of the beaches offer a variety of water sports to try out or you can just spend the day enjoying the sun. Corfu town the capital of the island is around 15km away from the hotel, easily accessible if you rent a car or you can use the bus station next to the hotel that will take you there and many other places around the island.

In Corfu town you will find plenty of tourist attractions with a large variety of shops, restaurants and nightlife to enjoy. Closer to the hotel the neighbouring village of Benitses is well worth a visit just for the unique shell museum there, famed for its unusual and interesting collection of coral, shark jaws, shells and other exotic fishy exhibits.
