Overview

The Blue Marine Resort and Spa is located four miles from Aghios Nikolaos in a tranquil waterfront setting overlooking Mirabello Bay and close to the clear blue waters of Ammoudara beach. The Blue Marine Resort consists of 202 airy and mostly sea sea-facing stylish rooms with tasteful decor and comfortable furnishings. Each room has a balcony or terrace, individually controlled air conditioning, satellite television, a DVD player and free wi-fi internet access.

The Blue Marine Resort and Spa in Crete also offers its guests a choice of two saltwater swimming pools, a children’s playground and a mini club for 4 to 12 year olds, currency exchange and babysitting services, a minimarket, jewellery store and boutique, and a programme of daytime and evening entertainment six days a week with volleyball, tennis, table tennis, archery, shows and live music.

Swimming pools

The hotel has two outdoor seawater swimming pools with an integrated pool for children. There is also a heated indoor thalassotherapy pool with hydro massage jets (free to use from 1st April to 31st May and 1st to the 31st October). Loungers and parasols can be found by the pool and at the beach.

Eating and drinking

The hotel has a main restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet style with a show cooking corner and a kids or vegetarian menus on request. There is also a Mediterranean a la carte restaurant, a pool bar, a lobby bar, an amphitheatre bar and a nightclub.

The all inclusive option at the Blue Marine Resort includes breakfast from 7am to 10am, late breakfast buffet from 10am to 11am, lunch between 12.30pm and 3pm and dinner from 6.30pm to 9pm. All Inclusive guests also receive one complimentary dinner at the a la carte restaurant once per stay. During meals, local drinks (draft beer‚ carafe wine, soft drinks, juices, still water, tea and filter coffee) are included. Afternoon tea and snacks are available from 4pm to 6pm (tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits, finger mini sandwiches and mini rolls) and ice cream is available daily from 10am to 6pm. All Inclusive beverages are available between 10am and 11pm including local spirits, draft beer‚ carafe wine, soft drinks, juices, still water, tea, filter coffee and a cocktails menu including five alcoholic and two non-alcoholic cocktails.
