Overview
The Blue Bay Hotel overlooks one of Crete’s most attractive bays, Mononaftis, and is just over a mile from the centre of the fishing village, Agia Pelagia. The nearest beach is just 150 metres away and the hotel operates a free shuttle service. The hotel offers a total of 200 rooms split between the main building, annex building and bungalows spread throughout the grounds. There is a varied entertainment programme and a wealth of facilities for young and old alike including kids clubs, a games room, table tennis, nighttime shows, contests and theme nights, gym, multi sport court and children’s playground.
Eating and drinking
The main restaurant Amvrosia offers buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner along with panoramic views. The Dionysos Bar is a great place to relax with a cooling drink and enjoy the spectacular view of Mononaftis Bay. Breeze is the main poolside snack bar and Pergola is the second poolside snack bar by the pool at the Athina Bungalows in the hotel grounds. Finally there is the a la carte Panorama restaurant with special dishes from Greek, Italian and international cuisine (payable locally).
