Overview

The Dolphin Bay Hotel is on the beach of Amoudara, the longest in the Heraklion area and edged with bars, shops, hotels, restaurants and cafes, as well as, local markets. The resort is approximately 4 miles from downtown Heraklion, actually; you are in the center of Heraklion, but on the marvelous, endless private sandy beach of Amoudara surrounded by the hotel's beautiful blossom gardens and relaxing walking space.

The complex consists of 259 rooms and apartments distributed over the main building and bungalows and it was last fully-renovated in 2002.

Swimming pools

The resort has 2 swimming pools and 2 paddling pools. Sunshades and loungers are provided around the pool area and on the hotel's private beach.

Eating and drinking

The hotel has a non smoking restaurant, a self service restaurant, a main bar and a pool bar.

The ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE offers the followings:

Food and Beverage: breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served in restaurants in a buffet style. The drinks are served from 10:00 am until 23:00.

KNOSSOS RESTAURANT

Breakfast from 07:25 am until 09:45 am

Lunch from 12:30 (Noon) until 14:00

Dinner from 18:30 until 21:15

POSEIDON POOL BAR: Serving local wine, filter coffee, tea, juices(not fresh), refreshments, local beer, Ouzo, Raki and Local Brandy, as well as, snack (peanuts, chips) and ice cream or cookies (16:00 until 17:00 only)

The 'Poseidon Pool Bar' opens from 10:00 am until 17:30

PHAISTOS MAIN BAR: Serving local wine, filter coffee, tea, juices (not fresh), refreshments, local beer, Ouzo, Raki and local Brandy, as well as, snacks (peanuts and chips).

The 'Phaistos Main Bar' opens from 17:30 until 23:00 only

Accommodation

All rooms are furnished very tastefully to provide a pleasant and comfortable stay. They all have either; big balconies or verandas with view to the sea or swimming pools or grounds with the hotel's impressive gardens.

Rooms are equipped with refrigerator, individual air-conditioning, safety deposit box, hair dryer, private bathroom, WC, and satellite television.
