AVAILABLE MAY TO OCTOBER - The Despo Hotel is 600 metres from Gouves sandy beach and approximately two miles from the centre of Gouves village. Gouves is a small, quiet resort and a popular choice for holidays in Crete, with a pretty old town and a sandy beach. The seafront area has a selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and the town, small boutiques and souvenir shops. There is a hotel-run shuttle bus to the beach daily and it is there you will find a water sport centre with all the usual activities.
Built in a traditional rustic style, the Hotel Despo is surrounded by mature, well kept gardens and has a beautiful backdrop of the Dikti Mountains. The 73 guestrooms have a balcony or terrace and optional air conditioning facilities (with extra charge) and there is a swimming pool and a children’s pool onsite. All of your wining and dining requirements are covered by the hotels all inclusive programme served from the restaurant and bars.

The hotel has two restaurants, one being a la carte. There is a pool snack and a lobby bar/cafe.
The hotel operates an All Inclusive option which includes full board in the main restaurant buffet style, continental breakfast from 8am to 10am, lunch from 1pm to 2.30pm accompanied by soft drinks, local beer and local wine, dinner from 7pm to 9pm accompanied by soft drinks, local beer, local wine. Snacks are available between 3pm and 6pm including ice creams and 'snack of the day', drinks are served in the main bar between 11am and 11pm including local alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, local beer, local wine, soft drinks, filter coffee and tea. Drinks in the bar after 11pm, 'brand name' and 'premium' drinks, imported beer, fresh juices, packed ice cream, espresso, cappuccino, bottled wine, canned drinks, champagne and special evenings are available but are not included in the all inclusive package.
