Overview
The hotel consists of 353 Rooms (97 of which have direct access to the Thalasso Spa Centre and 10 of which are tailored for guests with special needs) along offers guests an absolute escape from their daily routine. Children are fully catered for here with a playground, highchairs in the restaurants, children's restaurant with a special menu, a babysitting service (available on request and extra charge), cots (also on request but free of charge) and recreation activity programmes at the kids club (4-12 years old, 7 days a week,fees apply). Further services include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a hairdresser, bars, a games room, a bridge room, a large-screen TV and video room as well as conference facilities. Location
This hotel is situated on the north coast of Crete, 2 km from Hersonissos, 25 km east of Heraklion airport and 25 km from the city of Heraklion, on its own golden beach. Next to the turquoise-blue waters of the Cretan sea, guests are welcomed into a hospitable paradise of comfort and luxury surrounded by vast stretches of water complexes and exotic gardens.

The room amenities include a sofa-bed, hairdryer, electronic safe, magnifying mirror, direct dial telephone, king-size bed/twin beds, furnished balcony or veranda, fridge (minibar upon request), satellite TV with music channels, marble bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, air conditioning 24-hours/day (mid-June to mid-September, minimum).
Sport
There are 2 swimming pools on the hotel grounds. There is also a poolside bar for guests to enjoy along with a sun terrace (fees apply). Access to the sandy beach is free of charge, along with the fitness centre, 2 table tennis tables, minigolf course, archery facilities, outdoor showers, beach/ pool parasols, beach/ pool sun loungers, 4 tennis courts (quartz-sand), evening programmes and shows 1 or 2 times a week by the multilingual animation team. Work-out programmes with fitness instructors are also offered (aerobics, aquafit, gym work-outs, body firming). Some facilities are available at extra charges such as the sauna, squash, billiards, Turkish bath, whirlpool, water sports centre (diving, canoeing, windsurfing, waterskiing, pedal boats, parasailing, banana rides, ringos) and Thalasso, which offers the unique opportunity to experience relaxation, beauty treatments and well-being like never before.
Meals
The chefs, who embrace tradition, and the produce of the fertile Cretan soil, create authentic Greek specialties, Mediterranean dishes and gastronomical dining delights just for guests. Breakfast (American-style buffet) is served in the main restaurant, Symposio. A buffet is served in the main restaurant for evening meals with a choice of three dishes. There are also three special buffet theme nights a week. Please note: Drinks are not included. Missed meals cannot be replaced. For guests following a special dietary meal programme, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the Harmonia Restaurant. Dress Code: Guests are kindly asked to dress appropriately in all restaurants and the nightclub during the evening. (No shorts or bathing suits please).
