The family-run Phaedra Beach Hotel sits on the east side of Malia beach approximately one and a half miles from the centre of Malia. The archeological Minoan Malia Palace site also lies just a mile away from Phaedra Beach Hotel. Malia's Phaedra beach can be accessed through the hotel grounds, an ideal place to sunbathe until your hearts content or try one of the many water sports available on your holidays to Malia.

The hotel has a total of 300 comfortable standard and family sized guestrooms (family rooms have two bedrooms). The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day and has a TV corner and internet facilities and there are two restaurants (one for half board guests and one for all inclusive guests).

The pool area will appeal to families as there is just one pool for adults but four for children. Within the hotel grounds you will also find a children’s playground or if you are feeling energetic then head for the beach and join in with a game of beach volleyball or football. Eating and drinking

There are two restaurants (one for half board and one for all inclusive) and 5 bars – a main bar, a pool bar, a snack bar and two beach bars.

The hotel operates an All Inclusive option which includes breakfast from 7.30am to 9.30am, lunch between 12.30pm and 2pm and dinner from 7pm to 9pm, all buffet style (lunch also table service), served in the main restaurant. During breakfast water and juices (orange, grapefruit, mandarin) are offered; during lunch and dinner, wine (red and white), draught beer, soft drinks and water from dispenser. Tea and coffee time with cookies is between 3.30pm and 5pm at the snack bar (self service). Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, juices, filter coffee, tea, soft drinks from dispenser, ouzo, raki, brandy, wine (red and white) and draught beer are served from 10am to 11pm (at the pool bar between 10am and 6pm then at the main bar from 6pm to 11pm.
