The beautiful harbour town of Rethymnon is the 3rd largest town in Crete and offers many stunning sights you would expect from a traditional Greek town, with its intricate maze of streets, white washed cottages and old churches that have remained unchanged for decades. There are many pleasant opportunities to experience the traditional Crete lifestyle with lively open-air markets along with local shops, tavernas and al fresco restaurant that buzz with activity.
