Overview

The Katrin Hotel and Bungalows are in the quiet resort of Stalis, approximately 200 metres from the centre of the village and the beach. The hotel consists of 111 rooms spread between different buildings with 49 double rooms, 19 bungalows, 36 family rooms and 7 studios.

The property offers swimming pools for adults and children, a restaurant and a number of bars for your wining and dining convenience, a gym, sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi, table tennis and billiards and a light entertainment programme six days a week with pool games, competitions and tournaments. Younger visitors also have a kids club and a playground to compliment the seperate children's pool.

Stalis sits on Crete’s northern coastline and is close to both Hersonissos to the west and Malia to the east. The centre has a selection of shops, cafes, tavernas, bars and clubs, some of which open late. For a wilder night nearby Malia is the place to go.

Swimming pools

The hotel has two swimming pools and a separate pool for children. Sunbeds and parasols are available around the pool area free of charge.

Eating and drinking

The hotel has a main restaurant and bar as well as two poolside bars.

The hotel offers an all inclusive option which includes full board in the Amvrosia Restaurant (breakfast from 7.30am to 10am, lunch between 12.30pm and 2.30pm and dinner from 7pm to 9.30pm). Meals are accompanied by soft drinks, juices, local beer and local wine. The Posidon Pool Bar opens between 11am and 6pm and serves soft drinks, local beer, local wine, ouzo, brandy, raki, sandwiches, snacks, ice cream for children and has coffee time (with coffee and tea, biscuits, cookies etc). The Sunshine Pool Bar also opens between 11am and 6pm and offers the same as the Posidon Pool Bar but is also the place to come for late continental style breakfast (which it serves between 10am and 11am). The Dionissos Main Bar opens from 6pm to 11pm and serves soft drinks, juices, local beer, local wine, local spirits (such as Ouzo, Brandy, Vodka, Gin, Whisky, Rum and Tequila). The main bar also serves the cocktail of the day and coffee.

The AI option also includes the light animation programm 6 days a week (water polo, quiz, darts, games, gymnastics, aqua gym, bingo, competitions, tournaments, board games, table tennis, volleyball etc) and free use of internet ( 1 hour per day. Reservation required). Guests on All Inclusive can also enjoy free use of the gym, Jacuzzi, steam bath and sauna if reserved 3 days in advance (one session per person per 6 days minimum stay).
