About seven kilometres south of Argostoli the capital of Kefalonia and 3 km south of Lassi, Svoronata is a scenic village 3.5 km inland and quite close to the airport although plane noise is limited.
There are three excellent beaches, which depending on the location of your accommodation, take about 30 to 40 minutes to walk to and on the road between Svoronata and Avithos is a super go-karting track.
