The nearest beach is less than a mile away and a scheduled bus service starts directly outside the hotel premises two times everyday. A mini bus is also available free of charge from the hotel to the beach at scheduled times. The beach itself benefits from the coastal breeze and is perfect for windsurfers.

Tholos village has a handful of restaurants, bars, shops and there is a local bus service to Rhodes Town which is approximately 15 miles away. The Valley of the Butterflies is three miles away and the ancient city of Kameiros is just five miles from the Meliton Hotel.
