Where can I spend my cash?
Head to New City of Rhodes where you will find a number of great high end shops to part with your money or for your kids to spend your cash. The Old Town is where you will find classic and modern jewellery as well as leather goods which can be found on Socrates Street. Lindos, Afandou and Archangelos villages offer beautifully hand woven carpets, some can be bought from monasteries as well.
Hidden gem
One place you don’t want to miss whilst on a Rhodes holiday is the Valley of the Butterflies; the valley gorge boasts rare Kalimorfa Butterflies due to their attraction to the resin of the storax trees. Also in the valley you will find a number of small waterfalls running through the valley.

- The water is safe to drink but there are fine minerals which might have a grudge with your stomach, best keep the peace and stick to bottled water.

How do I get around?

Shall I learn the language?

How much should I tip?
- Tipping is generally customary in Rhodes and after an enjoyable meal at a restaurant a 10% tip is seen as a polite gesture, if they serve wine from a pint glass then you can lower the tip to 5%, it’s a general rule out in Rhodes.
