There are plenty of beaches to explore in Faliraki including the main Faliraki Beach, which is well organised and has plenty of amenities; Anthony Quinn Bay, which is a sheltered and secluded bay, great for a bit of peace and quiet; and Kathara Bay, which is a quiet and sandy beach with great waters for swimming in.

Things to Do

There are a range of activities to do in the surrounding area including paragliding and bungee jumping, and there are also plenty of water sports on the beach. There is also a water park just outside of Faliraki, which is great for groups and families.


Visit Rhodes town and see the medieval fortifications and incredible historic architecture. The Apollo Temple is one of the most famous sights in Greece and is a main attraction of Rhodes, as well as the Temple of Aphrodite.

Faliraki Group Holidays


There are plenty of blue flag beaches in the area, many of which have beach front bars so you can spend your days with friends hanging out on the beach and swimming in the clear and warm sea water. Faliraki is also popular with groups as there are plenty of bars and clubs to enjoy in the town centre.

Beach Activities

There are plenty of activities to do on the beach including water skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving, jet skiing, and banana boats, which is a fun group activity. Faliraki is well known for its nightclubs and there are plenty on offer to enjoy. Many clubs will have special drinks deals, and there are also foam parties, silent discos, and even party boats to go on. Most of the clubs are situated around Bar Street, so all of the action is confined to one area of the town.

Faliraki Romantic Getaways


The beach at Faliraki has been awarded a Blue Flag, and is well organised with loungers and beach bars. It’s considered to be a cosmopolitan beach, with many chic bars and restaurants to spend your evenings in. For a day trip, visit nearby Kalithea where there are thermal springs to relax in.

Things to Do

Faliraki is a fairly busy town, so there are lots of things to do. Take a walk through the town and pick up some souvenirs, or take a land train and tour the town. Many of the land trains depart from the hotels in the area, so often you can be dropped off direct to your hotel.


There are plenty of beach bars, many of which have special drinks deals, and there are also plenty of restaurants to enjoy, including traditional tavernas and international cuisine. There are also plenty of nightclubs in the area, which are popular with large groups, but you can certainly find one to suit.

The Hotel Louis Colossos Beach is situated on the outskirts of town, near Kalithea’s natural spring. It’s in a secluded location, but has easy access to the town centre. Faliraki With the Kids


Faliraki holidays are popular with families who want to stay in a lively beach resort in Rhodes with all the amenities you need to make your stay memorable and pleasant. The town has loads of blue flag beaches, as well as the largest water park in Europe, which is simply called The Water Park.
