As well as spending your time relaxing on the beach, there are lots of activities to do in the town including bowling and tennis. There is also an 18-hole championship golf course nearby in Afandou, which is great for dads who want a break from the family.

There are a wide variety of restaurants in the town centre serving traditional Greek food as well as specific children’s menus. There are also a variety of beachside tavernas, where you can relax after a day on the beach, and cafes dotted throughout the town for a light bite to eat.

The Old Windmill Studios are great for families who want affordable self catering accommodation. The studios are located on the outskirts of Faliraki and there is a swimming pool with children’s section, plus a terrace with sun loungers so you can spend your days relaxing by the pool.

Faliraki is a fairly busy town, so there are lots of things to do. Take a walk through the town and pick up some souvenirs, or take a land train and tour the town. Many of the land trains depart from the hotels in the area, so often you can be dropped off direct to your hotel.

There are plenty of beach bars, many of which have special drinks deals, and there are also plenty of restaurants to enjoy, including traditional tavernas and international cuisine. There are also plenty of nightclubs in the area, which are popular with large groups, but you can certainly find one to suit.

The Hotel Louis Colossos Beach is situated on the outskirts of town, near Kalithea’s natural spring. It’s in a secluded location, but has easy access to the town centre. There is a large swimming pool on site, plus the hotel offers an all inclusive option if you want to spend most of your time on site.

There are plenty of activities to do on the beach including water skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving, jet skiing, and banana boats, which is a fun group activity. Many of the beaches offer these activities, although sometimes your hotel offers discounted rates so be sure to check at reception first.

Faliraki is well known for its nightclubs and there are plenty on offer to enjoy. Many clubs will have special drinks deals, and there are also foam parties, silent discos, and even party boats to go on. Most of the clubs are situated around Bar Street, so all of the action is confined to one area of the town.

Rodos Sun Hotel is situated five minutes away from the beach, and 10 minutes away from Bar Street. It’s a friendly and fun hotel with a swimming pool, and self catering apartments so you aren’t obliged to stay on site. The hotel also has a bar and holds barbeques throughout the summer.
