The Sunshine Rhodes is a fabulous hotel and resort boasting an enviable location on the stunning beach of Ialyssos and it is just moments away from the vibrant town of Ialyssos, making it an ideal place to spend a family holiday in the sun. The hotel has an impressive number of spacious double rooms and family rooms with beautiful views over the sea or gardens, along with some excellent facilities and services including the 3 large outdoor pools to help you enjoy the wonderful Greek weather. There are also fitness facilities to use if you wish to stay active and fit during your holiday and guests just looking to relax for a bit may like to use the sauna. Within the hotel grounds you can also find tennis courts along with opportunities for bocce, volleyball, archery, aerobics and mountain biking that is all included as part of the all-inclusive content at the hotel. Children can have fun in the playground and there are plenty of activities to keep them occupied with the children’s club and a teenager’s club. Additionally the hotel also features an animation program with regular day and evening entertainment including live music, shows and musicals that all the family can enjoy, when not exploring the wonderful town and island.
You will find the island of Rhodes to be a fantastic place to spend a holiday, there are fabulous sandy beaches and the island has a long and interesting history offering several historical monuments and sights well worth a visit, with some of the notable sights near the hotel including the Temple of Apollo, Acropolis of Rhodes and Filermios. With the nearest beach being on the hotel’s doorstep there are plenty of opportunities to lie back on the fine sands and soak up the sun or if you are looking for water sports you can find many from water-skiing to windsurfing.
The town of Ialyssos offers a host of charming local shops selling all your holiday essentials as well as a variety of local crafts and you can also find many tavernas and restaurants offering delicious local cuisine to enjoy. If you are looking for even more to do and see you can find the island’s capital of Rhodes is only 7km away.
Eating and drinking
The hotel has 3 restaurants with the main restaurant offering a buffet breakfast as well as lunch and dinner for those staying on as full-board or all-inclusive. There is also even more delicious cuisine offered at the a-la-carte tavern or at the Italian restaurant, with guests staying as all-inclusive offered a choice of complimentary meal at them.
Light meals, snacks and refreshing drinks are offered all day at the pool bar and beach bars and your favourite drinks can be enjoyed at the cocktail bar, perfect to sip while sitting by the pool or at the end of the day in the music lounge.
