Kassimatis Studios

Overview

The Kassimatis Studios is a small boutique style property situated at the peak of Imerovilgi village on the legendary Greek island of Santorini. Fira, the islands capital, is approximately 1.5 miles away and it is two miles to the nearest beach. These traditional studios are built in such a manner that blends in with the local Cycladic architecture with whitewashed walls complimented by blue windowpanes and doors.

Each of the studios has a large patio overlooking the blue Aegean Sea and the volcano or a balcony where you can lie back and enjoy the stunning sunsets. The interior is tastefully decorated in a traditional style and some areas are built into the cliff, giving the rooms the unique feel of a cave dwelling. The studios also feature a dining area, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and fridge, air conditioning and satellite television. Rooms are cleaned daily and bed linen is changed every two days.

Imerovigli is situated on the western side of Santorini Island, 300 metres above sea level and opposite the 3 small isles of Thirassia, Palea and Nea Kameni. The area is renowned for its unparalleled view of the Caldera, its volcano and breathtaking sunsets. Imerovigli is a picturesque settlement with traditional Cycladic whitewashed houses carved into the cliff and cobblestone alleyways. There are several interesting historical and religious sites in the area and some beautiful beaches are close by.
