However, if you would like to explore Skiathos’ northern coast, car hire is highly recommended.

There are superb views of the islands of Tsoungria and Arkos from Vassilias, as well as towards the port capital of Skiathos Town. In Vassilias there are a couple of mini markets perfect for stocking your fridges with all sorts of tasty British and Greek delights if you are on a self catering holiday.
