The Gloria Maris Hotel is situated in the quiet area of Porto Koukla on the bay of Laganas. The bay is a nesting site for the famous Kareta-Kareta turtles. (There are no motorized water sports available here, the turtles take priority).This beach front property set in its own attractive landscaped gardens is the ideal choice for a relaxing holiday in Zante. There are boat trips available from this resort to Marathonissi, Keri Caves and of course turtle spotting.

Porto Koukla is a wonderful little resort nestled between Aghios Sostis and Keri Lake on the bay of Laganas surrounded by olive groves. This is a very small resort consisting of two hotels and a few self catering units with a very narrow beach and with lovely views of Marathonissi and the bay of Laganas. The main town of Zakynthos is just a few miles away and offers a great opportunity to shop and explore the harbour and narrow streets.

The hotel has a beach bar serving Greek dishes and drinks throughout the day and hosting musical nights in a Caribbean style. There is also a pool bar and cafeteria as well as a Greek Taverna. Once or twice a week they organise a Greek night with Greek dancing.
