Macedonia Apartments

Overview

The Macedonia Apartments are in the attractive resort of Kalamaki, three miles from Zakynthos town and harbour and two miles from Laganas. There are shops, bars and restaurants in the surrounding area and the centre of Kalamaki is just 200 metres away. The beach in Kalamaki is wide, sandy and safe for children and is just 450 metres from the Macedonia Apartments.

Built in 2000, the complex consists of five buildings with 40 studios and 20 two-room apartments. Attractively decorated inside and out, the rooms also have a fully equipped kitchenette and a verandah with views of the pool or gardens. There is a pool for adults and a separate pool and a playground for children as well as a pool bar serving drinks and snacks.

In the Macedonia’s recreation room you can enjoy billiards, table tennis, watch TV or a DVD and play games including chess. The complex also has currency exchange facilities, a mini golf course and offers free parking if you have hired a car. Once a week there is an organized Greek night with traditional singing and dancing for all to enjoy.

Swimming pools

There is a large swimming pool surrounded by loungers and tranquil gardens. There is also a separate children’s pool.
